OSBE was established in Turin in 1976 and up to 1996 was dedicated exclusively in the design and manufacture of electronic systems for intercommunications applied to protection helmets used in several sectors i.e. :
MILITARY AND PARAMILITARYSECTOR : the use ofonboard systems for the navy and communication systems for Motorcycle divisions ofLocal Police Forces, Fire Brigades, as well as Security Guards ;
WORKING SECTOR : Motorcycle Cameramen during the Giro D’Italia, crane operators, Engine Test Rooms,Ambulances, MotorcycleDrivingSchools, SkiingSchools, and Limousine Intercommunication systems ;
SPORT SECTOR : communication systems for Rally, Speed Boats, Go-Kart, Off-Road, Gliding,Motorcycling, Cycling, Skiing, and Mountain Climbing.
In 1996 OSBE began the production of its own tooling and moulds, as the Company began a fast and deep process of diversification along with the electronic sector, into the motorcycle helmet business it became within a short time to be one of the Italian Companies in the sector with the highest number of owned moulds and tooling made for the manufacturing of an exclusive and complete range of motor sports helmets.
In 2001 the Company having developed a Third sector has extended its range to include a complete and new range of ski helmets and all other helmets related to mountain/winter sports.
